Nawal Noor is an award-winning serial entrepreneur, developer and general contractor based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her experience includes two decades in the fields of strategy and development, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and marketing and strategic product innovation, including 9+ years at Ecolab.
Nawal earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, later receiving her Master of Business Administration degree at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, Illinois.
She founded Noor Companies with the intention of pushing the construction and development industry forward — building it into the largest woman-owned general contracting & development firm of its kind in the nation, with $3B+ in team experience and $500M+ in completed work.
Nawal approaches every project as a social enterprise — prioritizing subcontractors of color, workforce development, and community impact alongside financial returns.
