The Hosmer Library is an historic structure built in 1916 that had not seen refurbishments since 1997. As one of the last four Carnegie libraries in Minneapolis, Noor Companies’ work for Hennepin County centered on preserving the integrity and historic nature of the building while remodeling and refurbishing approximately 11,000-square-feet of public and staff space.
Estes has been a landmark on Plymouth Avenue in north Minneapolis since 1962. But when the opportunity to secure a new building arose, the approach was anything but traditional. Hennepin County selected Noor Companies to build a ground up 8,000 building with a large parking to accommodate families and a reflection garden to help families celebrate their loved ones.
The Bessemer is a 128-unit apartment building completed in partnership with Schafer Richardson and Redesign.
As a final piece of a larger Seward Commons development, Wadaag Commons will be a 32-unit housing development that is both affordable and welcoming to the many diverse communities that call South Minneapolis home.
For this project, we partnered with affordable housing developments, the City of Minneapolis, and several other partners, to revitalize neighborhoods in North Minneapolis.
Target East Lake Street was an important project. Target an important client took a chance on Noor Companies to reopen the store which was damaged following the murder of George Floyd. Noor completed the over 100,000 sf of retail, warehouse and refrigeration and rebuilt the store to meet the community needs.

Gordon Parks High School was an impact driven project in parntnership with Heart of America and 3M to update the high school for students. This project was affected by the unrest.
US Bank West Broadway branch was burned due to the unrest following the murder of George Floyd. US Bank partnered with Noor to rebuild a reimagined US Bank Branch that refelected the communities needs and met the new design guidlines of the Bank.
